About the 2023 Australian Liveability Census

The 2023 Australian Liveability Census invites local communities to share what is important to them and how local neighbourhoods are performing. Our objective is to understand liveability from the perspective of our nation’s diverse population and provide decision makers with the evidence base to enhance the lives of local communities.

Launching on National Neighbour Day, Sunday 26th March 2023, and running until Friday 30th June 2023, the 2023 Australian Liveability Census is the country’s largest social research project. The 2023 Australian Liveability Census will be available in multiple languages.

Your organisation can partner with Place Score to collect invaluable liveability insights to help guide investment planning for your community, or you can participate as an individual once the 2023 Australian Liveability Census opens.
